The Power of the Mind

I've been doing some thinking lately about the power of the mind.

The mind's power to truly make us...

...or break us.

Over the last few weeks I've had a few calls with folks interested in joining my Emotional Freedom Training Programs and I can't help but notice a pattern...

Almost every person was worried or afraid.

Now if you asked them point blank if they were either of these two things they would have never told you that was the case.

Remember, most of us were raised in families or by societies that rewarded the suppression of emotion in the name of something else.

You know, parents that said to us while we're crying that if we don't stop crying they'll "give us something to cry about."

You get the point.

What I've noticed is this inability to turn off the worry...to turn off the almost constant questioning...

  • How will I ever have a successful business with this stupid job in the way?

  • How will I ever build a successful business with all the shit that's hitting the fan around me?

  • How do I build a business that doesn't kill me in the process?

The cursed hows are steaped in and created by fear...

  • Fear of never realizing one's fullest potential

  • Fear of wasting one's life working toward the goals of someone else

  • Fear of burning out or getting sick

  • Fear of having to go back to work for someone else

  • Fear of the unknown

The list goes on...

If your mind is racing a million miles a minute, you're not alone. If you're worried or afraid, you're not the only one. In fact, there are many that have come before us who held similar fears and worries.

But that doesn't mean it has to be the status quo.

I truly believe that our fear and worries are here to teach us something important in our lifetime AND we can't learn from them if we don't get curious by asking ourselves tough questions like...

What are these fears and worries trying to teach me?

After supporting hundreds of people on their journey to emotional freedom, I've come to find that the answer is quite simple.

You are meant to do things differently.

And it's okay if you don't know how quite yet...

That's exactly why I created The Stress Less Method.

To guide and support, first, myself and, now, you.

So if you're interested in exploring what it could look like to be guided and supported here, I invite you to apply for a complimentary discovery call with me.

Because the world needs you in all of your glory.

Curiously yours,
Carlee
